Untitled – (Study #18)

Study no. 18 is a quilt pattern created using random imagery cut-outs from newsprint.

Collage on paper.

c1930s-1940s.

An abstract image, possibly a cityscape, created using cut-outs of imagery from periodicals. The images used include various textures, patterns, and at least one image of marching soldiers.

Good condition overall. Some discoloration and glue stains.

Housed in a new frame under UV plexiglass.

Measures 4.5 x 4.75 sight size, and 11.75 x 12 x 1.25 inches overall including framing.
