Howard Norton Cook - 'Downtown II'
Howard Norton Cook, (1901-1980), was a highly regarded American painter and printmaker based in the American Southwest.
Cook is was well educated and traveled extensively, but spent a majority of his life near Santa Fe, and Taos, New Mexico. His works are held in may major institutions in the United States.
This work is one a few works he created while visiting New York City.
